So today…woke up early for nothing. Damn insomnia. Kevin and I finished more work on the garage, the rafters now have a plywood “floor” over them so we can store stuff and hang out up there. Tomorrow we are putting in track lighting and a television and a radio to complete the experience. I think I’m going to see a movie tonight but I’m not entirely sure… I think I may just rent one or watch one of my DVD’s who knows who cares? I sure as shit don’t.

Its Friday again…another week over another to soon begin ::shudder:: That means it’s once again time for the
“Friday Five”
1. How many TVs do you have in your home?
There are 8. None of them are under 19″ in size.
2. On average, how much TV do you watch in a week?
A few hours
3. Do you feel that television is bad for young children?
I feel that not enough television is bad for childeren. TV exposes childeren to the harshness of the real world that their candy ass parents won’t let them know about.
4. What TV shows do you absolutely HAVE to watch, and if you miss them, you’re heartbroken?
If I miss “The Simpsons” it really pisses me off. Hafta see Homer!
5. If you had the power to create your own television network, what would your line-up look like?
The Simpsons, Dragon Ball Z, Samurai Jack, E! Wild On, Behind the Music, some movies, my periodic brainwashing session with subliminal messages inserted randomly in the above programming…and not necessarily in that order either.

Yah know, I was supposed to go see the Fab Janes last night. It didn’t happen. Animal showed up like 45 minutes before the concert so we didnt have enough time to make it there. Of fricking well ya know? Instead; Kevin, Animal, and myself piled into the car and headed toward Sam Ash Music. As have been with our passed 3 trips the store has been closed! Damn our luck.
On our way back we pulled into the Guitar Center parking lot and it was closed as with our last 3 trips. Luckily I spotted a sign that said “Closed Now, Open again at 8 PM” So we thought Ford City Mall would be the place to kill an hour. No such luck, it was closed. Coconuts music was open and we killed an hour in there critiqueing CD’s. Each of us also bought one. I bought NIN Live, Animal got Orgy, and Kev picked up RATM Battle for Los Angeles. On to Guitar Center. Animal scouted the Bass guitars and Kev and I perused the ever faithful six strings. While Animal was drawing a crowd by slappin away at a bass I drooled over my dream guitar. It is none other than the Epiphone SG. I can’t afford it so I left it at the same spot its been ever since my eyes took sight of it. Kevin felt the sensation to torture me by using that very guitar to demo a distortion pedal and forcing me to hear its beautifully menacing sound. Instead of buying the guitar that every fiber of my being told me to buy I picked up some skull shaped knobs for my Strat and Kev bought a tremolo bar for his Ibanez. Animal got a song book or something. I do feel the need to mention the gorgeous girl working at guitar center who sold me my knobs for the strat. She had black hair and pale skin…that just does it for me. To top it all off, as we were leaving she pick up the SG and put it on with a studded guitar strap!!! Shaaaa Wiiiiiingggg (Wayne’s World) I had to tell her how sexy she was. And she thought it was flattering. I didn’t pursue because I felt a distance issue. Anyways…
On the way back home we drag raced a streetsweeper. Yes I said a street sweeper! Animal had the windows down and the street sweeper was keeping pace and shooting water all over us. Eventually Animal pulled away and the tidal wave was no more. The theme for the night was AC/DC. We must have exhausted our collection of AC/DC playing only the best. Our last stop for the night was White Castle. If you aren’t familiar with White Castle burgers you shouldn’t be. They are food to be raised on otherwise forget about it. We call ‘em sliders because they right down and right out again making for an interesting night. Needless to say Animal spent the night on the throne. All hail King Animal! Hail King Animal. Light a match dude. After the food we packed it in around 12:30 and decided to call it a night.
Now it’s Sunday and time to get back to the grind stone.
