So I read this article a few days ago and it is getting MASS attention on the net and I thought I’d share it with everyone. It goes like this:

A guy and his friend were in a cab in NY, his friend lost her sidekick and someone else found it. Instead of returning it for the reward offered; they kept it, used the phone, the camera, the internet and then all that was uploaded to the t-mobile servers. The phone owner found out and now her friend has put all the info including e-mails, pictures, myspace pages and other events that transpired between himself and the theives.

He put up a forum and then all the traffic knocked it down. He actually tried 4 different forums. Took them all down but he has one back up for good. Really check it out. It’s like the ultimate crusade for human decency right there. Just be a good person and return what doesn’t belong to you.

It will definitely be good to see how this plays out.

I tried to make a post last week but blogger has been holding my damned login hostage. It wouldn’t let me log in at all. It kept erroring out. It’s been a busy busy few weeks and June is a really busy month for me.

Kevin (Tyssen) made it out here for Memorial Day weekend. We had some fun although we spent entirely too much time working on my truck. We installed an oil pressure gauge and a vaccuum pressure gauge in a gauge pod I’ve had sitting around for about a year now LOL! I won’t even get into how much time we spent on it but it was god aweful hot so we were taking breaks every so often and my legs got so sun burned. In between working on my truck we had some good grilled food and enjoyed the weather. The damned electric dog fence had to be replaced because Bruiser would get out and bother the neighbors. The dog bit Kevin when he tried to bring him back to the yard. Monday before he left we went to see X3, it was awesome and if you didn’t see it I won’t spoil it.

Last weekend I installed a new lower valance and fog lights on the truck. That too took way too much time but it looks good and the lights workk and I haven’t set the truck on fire yet. Yay me! and thanks to Sarah for helping me get the wiring and stuff done. Pics are up in my gallery.

Monday night (the 5th), David, myself and one of my mother-in-law’s co-workers went to see a WWE Smack-down event in Fort Wayne. It wasn’t televised so- no you did not see me on television. We were in the 4th row from the ring on the side where the wrestlers come out. The only lights on in the arena were above the ring which made for shitty photos which is why they are still on the camera. There were a couple of big names there like Rey Mysterio, Funaki, and Booker T but some guys I just didn’t know or care about. David had a blast and that was really what was important.

This weekend I have a company fishing tournement on Wauwasee Lake in Syracuse IN. I’m hoping to catch something. Sarah’s grandfather is gonna compete with me. There is 100 dollars prize for biggest bass, and biggest blue gill. Also being awarded is 50 dollars for most fish and oldest fisherman.

June 23rd I’ll be at a Fort Wayne Wizard’s baseball game and the last weekend of this month I’ll be back at home in Chicago for The Taste of Chicago. I’m sure there is something missing in between there but I don’t remember. I’m sure I’ll think of it.

I realized someting today. It has been a year since I moved away from home. It’s kind of strange knowing that I’ve been away from my friends, family and all the places and things I grew up around. Just yesterday for no real reason at all I found myself craving a pizza from Beggar’s. I’d say its impossible to find a good pizza out here, or for that matter a good burger, grinder, or gyro sandwich. Shit happens I guess.

Things were rocky after the move, I spent my life savings keeping bills paid and living life. I’m not ashamed to say there were times when I wish I hadn’t moved but those times were fleeting and honestly I never regret it. My wife (yes, wife) still has her bad days when she misses home (the place she spent 21 years of her life) and I don’t blame her one bit. We made a few trips back home last year and we plan on making at least one trip this year and we’ll probably go back until we are too old to make any more trips.

I’ve been at my new job for nearly a year now. It will be a year in August and I can say I’ve never been happier at a job…Of course it’s actually a career, I’ve always defined a job as something you just go to and get paid; the kind of thing you do with no reward other than a weekly check. I don’t have one of those, I have a career with lots of benefits. Work keeps me busy, I am in the middle of setting up an entirely new infrastructure, among other projects.

I’ve been married for two months now and it’s great. Not much has changed since being married and I like it that way. When things start to change just because you have the title husband or wife, that’s when shit hits the fan. I’m quite comfortable shit sans fan.

Sarah is finished with school, has her diploma and is working at a pathology lab in Fort Wayne. It’s a few miles farther from home than either of us had liked. Especially with gas prices the way they are but my truck doesn’t get great mileage either but I knew what I was gettin into when I bought it. I’m really proud of Sarah and all her accomplishments at school but I’ve said that more than once.

My best friend, Kevin, is making the trek out here next weekend for the Memorial Day holiday so we’re gonna show him a good time. I really appreciate him coming out here, it’s great to see him and it’s great when I get to see any of my friends. It’s terribly hard to meet people my age out here since I’m so young and I work with people twice my age. Eventually I’ll get around that some how. Not that I’m bothered by sitting around the house messing with my computers and watching tv. Seriously, it doesn’t bother me.

I gotta go do something so that’s it for now.

nevermind.

Well, its been one week since the wedding and things are going great. I have to say that I think it’s because nothing has really changed in our lives. Sarah and I have been together over 3 years and have been living together for the last year. If we didn’t have things covered by now we had no business getting married.

I’d like to thank everyone that came, it was great to have everyone here.

We have 230+ digital photos posted in my photo gallery for everyone to see. I need to rotate some of them because they’re sideways so just ignore those. Our photographer has our other photos developed and ready for us so we should be getting those back this week as well but I have no idea as to when or if I’ll put those in a gallery because sometimes the quality of the photos gets shot straight to hell when you do that.

That is all.
