Well it’s exactly one week until the wedding rehearsal and we only have a few things left to do. We have to meet with the pastor tomorrow to discuss some compatability test that we were told the results mean very little. Stupid ass test cost me 35 bux. Grrr. The tuxedos have to be picked up from the shop as well, those will get done next week. Sarah’s dress needs to be picked up as well but I’ve nothing to do with that.

It looks like we’ve gotten all of the invitations back. Out of nearly 100 we have somewhere in the 60’s actually coming. I have four friends showing up and ten family members. The rest are people everyone else invited. Needless to say, one side of the church is gonna look really empty. I guess I’ll have to hire some hobo’s as seat fillers. And much to my dismay I can’t have fireworks, fire breathers, fire dancers or anything having to do with fire at the wedding.

Six months really does go by fast. Not that that’s a bad thing though.

On an equally positive note, my friend Kevin got a new job with software company. He will be doing pc/server support for them and he starts in April. I’m really happy and even excited for him. Even though he’s supposed to be out here next week celebrating my wedding with me we’ll still be celebrating his new job too. Excellent.

Last nigh, I don’t know how it happened but the post I made about my birthday disappeared. I’m pretty pissed, it was here then it was gone. Bastards.

As I was catching up on the news and other stuff this morning I found a link to a guy who has major issues with department/mega stores checking his reciepts and looking through his bags before letting him out of the store after he buys things. I can’t say that I blame him too much. It always annoys me when they do that, but this weekend I went to Best Buy and bought my 19″ lcd and I walked right out with it. No questions, no checking or anything. It does strike me as odd now that I have been thinking about it.

Here is a link to the article, they even went so far as to follow this guy out of the store and block his car in it’s parking space just to check his reciept. All he got was a sorry. I have to say I would have been kicking ass and taking names. I digress.

My room looks like mission control…almost. I think I need a few more monitors, some ominous looking switches, flashing lights and buttons. LOL

This weekend I brought home the server I picked up from work and a desktop pc that I had been gathering parts for and put everything together. Let me tell you, I have one killer network. My desk has the 4 port router/modem/switch, palm pilot, iPod dock, digi-cam(s), external hard drive, lappy, desktop and server. Not to mention printer, phone and battery charger. I’ll say one thing; a bigger desk would be nice.
