Forgetting there is a 40 foot trailer attached to the back of your semi- PRICELESS!
Incase you dont understand, this asshole spotter who has been driving trucks for 15 years managed to forget there was a 40 foot trailer attached to his semi today. Earlier in the afternoon he hit a light post and it now stands at an angle. At around 8 PM is when the fun happened.
First he took out the whole [motorized] gate at Silverline and then managed to rip a cement pole out of the ground and get his trailer stuck 4 feet in the air. The maintenance mechanics had to cut the bottom of the trailer out with a torch to move it.
When his boss asked him what happened his response was “I forgot I had a trailer”
It should go without saying that this asshole will be fired but since it is where I work, the guy will be given an award and a pay raise.
